If you are like me, I always like to add something special to my writing lesson plans. I like seeing my students get excited about writing! This week, my class wrote about the perfect hiding spot for their pot of gold. Instead of reading a story to my class to kick-off this activity, I had them follow "the clues" left by a clever leprechaun! This really got them excited about writing about the perfect hiding spot!
